Plastic filament is pushed through a nozzle by motors.

The filament is heated to melt the plastic and then extruded.

The nozzle moves in the x-y plane to contol where the plastic is placed, printing in a continuos stream.

New melted plastic partially melts and binds to the lower surface when printed.

Supprt structures will be needed.
